The Very Good Food Company, the makers of plant-based meats and cheeses, announced that it will further grow in the U.S. market with the help of the grocer Weis Markets, who agreed to stock products made by the company at 150 of its locations throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Weis will source the Flippin Good Burger, Mmm Meatballs, A Cut Above Pork, and Very Good Steak from its The Very Good Butchers brand.
“We compared products across plant-based meat offerings and the decision was easy. VERY GOOD's clean and healthy process and great tasting products align with Weis's mission and our reputation of providing our customers with high quality foods and excellent value while being stewards of the environment," the grocer said in a statement.
